It all began with herbs!

Hi!  My name is Gwen, owner of Southern Queen Bee.  This venture (which I LOVE doing!) did not begin with a major plan to become a candlery girl and begin a business in ‘24…. 
    It actually began with the over proliferation of the potted herbs I grew over the spring and summer!!!  Not wanting to waste any of my Lavender or Rosemary, I began to make infused Honey…….    Then BEESWAX candles!!!!     After giving a few as gifts, people surprised me by asking if I would sell them some of my candles… and here we are!!!   

All of our custom candles are made with Pure Beeswax and Phthalate-free fragrances. Did you know? Beeswax is the longest burning wax of any candle wax!! It is also purported to “Cleanse the Air” by emitting a negative ionic charge that binds with pollutants when burned. Beeswax is not only chemical-free, it is 100% Biodegradable, Compostable, and Renewable!
